The 5th Orange County Women's Health Summit: Protecting Women’s Health in a Rapidly Changing Landscape featured presentations about health care reform, efforts to repeal and/or undermine the Affordable Care Act, and the implications for women's health at the national, state, and local levels.
Alina Salganicoff, PhD, Vice President and Director of Women's Health Policy at the Henry J. Kaiser Family Foundation, presented the keynote address. A national expert on health care access and financing for low-income women and children, Alina also serves on the Institute of Medicine (IOM) Preventive Services for Women Committee, which established and recently updated the national Women's Preventive Services Guidelines.
