Friday, October 17, 2014 | Delhi Center in Santa Ana

The 2014 Orange County Women's Health Policy Summit took place on Friday October 17, 2014 at the Delhi Center in Santa Ana, CA.  Immediately following the Summit, UC Irvine presented the Community Launch for its Interdisciplinary Center on Family Violence.

The Policy Summit featured presentations of the OCWHP's 2014 Policy Briefs and policy recommendations as prepared by the three Task Forces - Breast & Cervical Cancer, Health & Domestic Violence, and Teen Reproductive Health.  An advocacy training for nonprofits followed, to equip attendees to work with the Task Forces to develop action plans that will mobilize and equip stakeholders to implement and advance these policy recommendations.
